About us

Tutoring for All is a collaborative project involving multiple contributing partners. Prof. Dr. Dr. hc. mult Ingrid Gogolin of Universität Hamburg is the project leader. Dr. Ekkehard Thümler, the founder of Tutoring for All gUG, coordinates the project. Prof. Dr. Steffen Gailberger and the team of his chair at the University of Wuppertal are responsible for planning and producing German texts for reading proficiency, which constitute the core contents of the tutoring platform. We work with Teach First Germany for recruiting, training and deploying tutors. All tasks involving the development of the IT platform, graphic design and production of audio/video components are in the hands of specialized agencies. A group of high-ranking supporters with backgrounds in educational policy, administration and academia support the project.
